Thousands of birds invade the sky over Dallas on February 2, 2018. A news anchor in Houston captured an eerie scene when she stumbled upon an invasion of birds while out getting gas for her car. Watch carefully as Lydia's truck drives up to Dan Fawcett's farm: oblivious to the horror which awaits her, she pootles up the drive with all the speed of, well, an old lady off to natter about bird feed. She enters the house to find Dan dead in his bedroom with the windows broken, dead birds everywhere, and his eyes pecked out. Throughout the entirety of The Birds, there is no score -- only the chirping madness of the looming and growing threat, the significance of which is foreshadowed by this shot.
